Sixty days to change your mind
Fragrance is personal, and it does not really introduce itself until you have worn it a few times. So take sixty days from the day your order arrives. If it never becomes yours, send it back and we will refund it.
This applies to a bottle you have used, and to an empty one. We mean the guarantee literally.
Starting a return
Write to contact@velvetsylph.com with your order number and we will reply with a return authorization and the address to send it to. Please wait for that reply before shipping anything back, so your parcel does not arrive unmatched to an order.
How to Initiate Your Velvet Sylph Return
Return postage is yours to cover. We recommend a tracked service, since we can only refund a bottle that reaches us.
What we refund
The full price you paid for the fragrance, back to your original payment method. Original shipping costs are not refunded, unless the return is our error.
Sale items and discounts
Sale items, bundles and anything bought with a code are covered by the same sixty days. If you return part of a bundle, we refund what you paid for that bottle at the bundle price rather than the full single price.
If something arrives damaged or wrong
That one is on us entirely. Send a photo to contact@velvetsylph.com within fourteen days of delivery and we will replace it or refund it in full, including shipping both ways. Do not pay to send anything back before you hear from us.
Gifts
If a bottle was a gift, we can refund the person who paid, or issue store credit to you instead. Tell us which you would prefer when you write in.
When the money arrives
We refund within three business days of your return reaching us, to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer usually takes another few days to post it, which is outside our control. If it has been more than ten business days since we confirmed the refund, write to us and we will chase it.
